Who We Are
Sprouts and Little Sprouts CIC was created to provide accessible bereavement support for adults and children who may otherwise struggle to access help due to financial barriers or long waiting lists.
Born from lived experience, adversity and a deep commitment to supporting others, our organisation exists to ensure that nobody has to face grief alone.
As a non-profit Community Interest Company, all funds raised are used to support individuals and deliver our services. Our approach is person-centred, empathetic and supportive, offering one-to-one and group sessions delivered by trained counsellors who share our values and commitment to compassionate care.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first dinner & dance.

Charity 5k Dog Walk

Jack Petchey Leadership Award – Celebrating our founder Peter Bartlam
We are delighted to congratulate Peter Bartlam, Child and Family Therapist, on receiving the Jack Petchey Leadership Award in recognition of his outstanding work with children, young people and their families.
Since joining Saint Francis Hospice three years ago, Peter has brought warmth, compassion and dedication to his role. He has continually developed his knowledge, skills and expertise in supporting children and young people through bereavement, loss and the challenges associated with serious illness. His commitment to learning has been evident in the way he thoughtfully translates new knowledge into practice, ensuring the support he provides is both evidence-based and tailored to the individual needs of each child and family.
Peter has made a meaningful difference to countless families, creating safe, trusting relationships where children and young people feel heard, understood and supported. His calm, compassionate approach, together with his commitment to continual professional development, has strengthened the service we provide and positively impacted the wider team. Congratulations, Peter on this well-deserved recognition.
